50 Best Prospects Returning to College Basketball: 10-1
Our season preview series touches upon the best pro prospects with some collegiate experience already under their belt
Can… can you smell that?
That’s the smell of basketball season approaching, baby!
We’re going to be starting our preseason basketball coverage here at The Box and One with a list of our 50 best returning prospects in college basketball. This week will feature five days of breakdowns, some flim snippets, and written rankings of our top players for a future in the NBA, particularly those who we believe have the strongest chance to be a part of the 2023 NBA Draft cycle. Others, who we project to need multiple years in school before turning pro, will be omitted from the list.
There’s a major difference between the best players in the nation and the best prospects. We’re attacking this from a draft standpoint, looking for the guys who have room to grow and translate well to the NBA game.
We’ll be using this series as an opportunity to showcase our new, written form of prospect scouting reports that will be available exclusively on The Box and One Scouting Service. If you like the format and information, please consider subscribing to The Box and One for access.
Without further ado, here’s Part Five of our list, our final entry, with a dive into the truly ten best returning prospects in college basketball.
Unless I'm missing something, you don't have a single returning player worthy of a lottery pick. That must mean you see the top of the draft being all freshmen, pro league players, and foreigners.
